We've done it!

52 weeks.

1 year.

They say time flies when you're having fun.  For me it feels strange. This past year has gone so fast yet at the same time it feels so comfortable - like I've been doing this forever.  There's so much I could say about our journey, however it's too hard to list all the ways we've grown and developed.

I have worked in this industry for many years and ALWAYS loved it.  However one year ago I was feeling restless and unsettled.  I confided my dreams to my partner who simply turned around and said "well why don't we give it at go then?".  Amazing. Considering we had an 11 month old son and not yet owning our own home or anywhere near as "set up" as I'd always imagined.  I'm a big believer in trusting your instincts and the timing of your life.  Nothing Michael and I have done has been the "conventional way" but we've always talked, been open and moved forward simply as it felt right.  

Since that conversation we have come forward in leaps and bounds.  It's been so exciting to see Frankie & Dandelion achieve small milestones and working towards more ahead. 

I want to thank Michael for pushing me towards my dreams.  For having confidence and trust in me on the days I'm nervous and unsure or having a "what have I done?!" moment.  I want to thank my amazing family and friends for all their support and encouragement.  Most of all I want to thank YOU dear readers, customers and followers.  Without you we wouldn't be celebrating this year.  You all inspire me in so many ways.  I am truly grateful for it all.
